This is me

Hello. I'm Rachel and I'm a graduate from AUB's BA (Hons) Costume and Performance Design course. I have completed projects designing for and working on theatre and film productions, and taken work experience placements each summer with the New Alexandra Theatre's Stage Experience working as a wardrobe assistant. I have experience working on film sets and in theatre and particularly enjoy being a dresser.

I am a bit of a film buff and enjoy a variety of genres, from drama to period to sci-fi and fantasy. I also enjoy watching video essays on analysis of film and TV on YouTube to expand my understanding of social, cultural and economic contexts within my favourite shows. I also enjoy a trip to the theatre, especially musicals and getting totally transported into a story as only a theatre production can.

I love helping people feel good and a great outfit can often go a long way to achieving that. I enjoy styling and feel fulfilled when someone is confident in an outfit that makes them feel empowered.

I also love crafting and making things, especially embroidery and am hoping to soon open an online shop selling my handmade crafts.
